A new region named Hoenn gets added to the pokemon world. From now on, the pokemon world actually starts blooming. More regions are added and more features and facilities are added to the game. The main three pokemon of this generation are Mudkip, Torchic, and Treecko.

The levels are harder than before and the new features added in starter pokemon gen 3 make the game more interesting also it’s called pokemon emerald starters, pokemon ruby starters, and pokemon alpha sapphire starters.

In this generation, another 107 pokemon starters are added to your Pokedex. Except for adding a few pokemon, this generation never brought the same energy and enthusiasm to the game as other previous generations.

In this starter pokemon gen, 4 pokemon pearls and diamonds are added which were released with the main series and added to the Nintendo DS.
