The much-anticipated sequel “God Of War 5” will be released soon, but when exactly?

The release date for God of War Ragnarok is getting closer and closer, and fans worldwide are getting extremely enthusiastic about Kratos and Atreus’s next journey.

Ragnarok is the sequel to Sony Santa Monica’s God of War game, which was released in 2018. It will feature the godly father and son engaging in combat with a reimagined version of Thor as the developers bring their Norse mythology-inspired story to a close (after which only the gods know what the developers will do next).

Ragnarok is becoming one of the most anticipated video games of the following year, and we cannot wait to see more. This is because several other major titles, such as Starfield and Hogwarts Legacy, have been delayed until 2023. Continue reading to learn when you may begin playing god of war ps5 and other important information!

Will God of War Ragnarok come out in early 2022?

PlayStation has recently revealed that God of War Ragnarok will be released in 2022, as was previously promised, and that the game will be released in early November, which is the typical release timeframe for “major games.”

After almost nothing has been spoken about or published about the game since September 2021, God of War Ragnarok’s release date has been controversial due to the widespread belief that the game’s launch might be postponed.

According to a new leak, Sony was going to announce the date around one week ago, but that didn’t happen. Sony Santa Monica’s Cory Balrog tweeted that if it were up to him, he’d disclose more, which implies that Sony wanted to wait for some reason.

This evolved into genuine harassment of Santa Monica programmers over the release date, including one woman who stated she’d been given dick images as part of the harassment campaign to extract a date, which caused the studio to write a statement chastising the most fanatical portions of the fanbase.

Is God of War Ragnarok for PS5 only?

God of War Ragnarok will be available for the god of war ps4 and god of war ps5 on a cross-platform. Herman Hulst mentioned the game by name during an interview in which he discussed that many titles believed to be PlayStation 5 exclusives would also be coming to the PS4 platform.

Since Sony has not yet launched a first-party PS4/PS5 game with no simultaneous release date across all platforms, both titles will probably be published simultaneously.

God of War Ragnarok release date

God of War Ragnarok’s release date is November 9th, 2022. Unexpectedly, a cinematic trailer was published on YouTube, and it included some pre-rendered footage of Kratos and Atreus engaging in combat with several potent antagonists. It would seem that the primary purpose of this video is to announce the release date, and in that regard, it was successful. Ragnarok coming nigh!

Will God of War continue after Ragnarok?

The game’s creators seem to have announced that God of War: Ragnarök’s heroes would not be able to stop Ragnarök after presenting a brand-new gameplay clip at PlayStation Showcase 2021. The previous edition of God of War was critically lauded for its gameplay and story.

The new god of the war PS5 controller is now available and ready for use. The blue-and-grey gamepad is the first game-specific DualSense that Sony has launched since the debut of the PlayStation 5. It has an adult wolf and a young wolf pup wailing on the trackpad.

What can we expect with God of War Ragnarok?

God of War 5 Ragnarok is a forthcoming action-adventure game published by Sony Interactive Entertainment and developed by Santa Monica Studio. It is set to be published this year and will be accessible for both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Fans know it will undoubtedly be the ninth entry in the God of War Series after the eighth sequel, God of War, in 2018.

Since its first release in September 2020, the God of War Series has amassed a large following of fans and gamers. Several gaming writers and blogs recognized the sequel as one of the most anticipated games. There will be a God of War PS5 upgrade, but it won’t be free.

Will God of War Ragnarok come to PC platforms?

The release of God of War Ragnarok on PC has not been officially announced, but this does not indicate that it will not happen. If we talk about God of War PC vs PS5, God of War on PC is the greatest way to play the previous PlayStation exclusive, outperforming both the PS4 and PS5 editions in graphic improvements.

In the last several years, PlayStation released many key games on the PC. These games include enormous blockbuster exclusives such as Uncharted, Spider-Man, and Horizon Zero Dawn, which have transitioned to Steam and other gaming platforms. If you want to purchase the God of War PS5 upgrade, you’ll need to invest an additional $10.

God of War Ragnarok story

When it comes to the tale of God of War Ragnarok, Sony is playing its cards close to the chest; nevertheless, we have some information on the path the game’s storyline will take.

For one thing, a clash between Kratos and Thor was hinted at after the last game, and we also discovered that Atreus’ original name was Loki. These hints indicate that the next game will be released in the series. With these two tidbits of knowledge in mind, we may anticipate that significant secrets will be revealed inside the game and that other bits and pieces of Norse mythology will play a role in the subsequent release.

Expect more in-depth material to trickle out over the next several months as the advertising campaign gets into full swing. Still, in the meanwhile, we are anxious to find out as much as we can about the eagerly awaited sequel.

Final Thought:

The first teaser trailer for God of War Ragnarök, shown to the joy of many during the PlayStation Showcase event last year, is now available. Watch this video on youtube as you wait for God of War Ragnarök to be released on November 9th, 2022.
