If you have just started playing Final Fantasy 14, our item crafting guide will help you get started. Here are the main features that you need to know to improve your play properly.
If players don’t want to waste time on leveling, they contact boosting services. There they can take the help of professional players who can go through dungeons for them, participate in raids, and even buy ffxiv gil.
Gil is the main in-game currency and is very important for players because it can be used to purchase almost everything and improve your character. Buying game currency through a boosting service is a safe and legal service if you contact reliable companies.
Now let’s observe crafting tips that will be useful for you.
It is the easiest approach. Pick a useful recipe, buy the necessary supplies, start Quick Synthesis at full power, and then turn it back on. Here, a bonus to experience is helpful, and it may be acquired by food, FC buffs, and creating scrolls (sold at the headquarters of the grand company). This method’s drawback in FF 14 is its substantial material and crystal usage.
Making levequests is practical. You don’t need to make the needed materials at all because you may acquire them from an NPC or the market. They have the drawback of ending fast and building up gradually (3 levequests every 12 hours).
The charity category levequests offer three times as many things and provide the most experience. They provide twice as much experience for HQ.
Delivery of items to the grand company
Every day, grand companies accept certain subjects – one for each class. You may view the list in the Timers > Next Mission Allowance window. HQ also gives twice as much experience in Final Fantasy 14.
Delivery of collectables
Unlike grand companies, collectables could be handed over as many times as you want – until the list is updated. However, you’ll need to craft them yourself.
As the story in the Final Fantasy 14 progresses, quests about friendly factions of beastmen will open up to you. Each such faction has a set of recurring tasks, as well as a reputation that grows as these tasks are completed.
For craftsmen and gatherers specifically, some fractions have been created. 12 chores can be finished in a day, but no more than three of them could be for one group. You can take on all the assignments and finish them all in one go over two days.
New content for crafters and gatherers in Ishgard is the restoration of an area called the Underworld, destroyed during the war with dragons. It opens with the quest Towards the Firmament at level 60 (after the completion of the Ishgard storyline).
To get there, you need to click on the crystal in Ishgard and select the option Travel to the Firmament.
- The restoration works in Final Fantasy 14 consist of:
- Extraction of materials in a particular zone (The Diadem)
- Creation of various items from these materials for NPC delivery
- Participation in mass events for the construction of buildings and the arrangement of the territory
By speaking to an NPC known Aurvael, you can enter the Diadem with any collecting class starting at level 10. This zone is filled with nodes that provide crafting ingredients, but you don’t need to gather them yourself because they can be obtained on the market.
But there, costs range widely. The extracted resources must be displayed to an NPC named Flotpassant for inspection before being used for crafting or selling (standing next to Aurvael).
Ishgard recipes in Final Fantasy 14 are in a separate list in the Crafting Log: Special Recipe (bag with a star) > Ishgard Restoration. Each class has 6 recipes: 20, 40, 60, 70 and 80 levels, as well as a recipe in the “expert” category.
Ready-made items are accepted by an NPC named Potkin – provided that at least some minimal Collectability is gained during crafting.
The higher the recipe level, the higher the Collectability bar. For the delivery of things, experience and a different currency is credited – Skybuilders’ Scrips. In exchange for these scrips, you can buy clothes, minions, mounts, and many other interesting things from the NPC trader Enie.
Thus, the restoration of Ishgard is not only an additional (and very fast) pumping option, you can still make good money there.
Each phase of restoration labor lasts one patch and contains its own set of recipes and resources (for example, patch 5.2 is the second phase).
In the first 10 days of the new phase, collectors and crafters compete to see who can turn in the most level 80 items and materials for the most points. Labor strikes receive accolades and titles, and every class is rated differently.
How to earn points for rating?
You should craft expert recipes. They are different from the usual ones. Firstly, they are more difficult because they have a much higher Quality/Collectability bar. To gain the required quality, you will need at least 50 moves.
Secondly, expert recipes do not have Excellent and Poor states, but there are three other states: Centered (the action has a 25% increased chance of success), Sturdy (the action spends 50% less strength), and Pliant (the action spends 50% less CP). Crafting these recipes requires the best equipment and food.
The delivery of things in Final Fantasy 14 fills the strip of readiness for the next mass event. Progress can be viewed on the board in the center of the square. When the strip is filled, the countdown to the start of the event begins. They take place in two stages – shortly after filling in and after 8 hours. When the event starts, you need to run to some area of the Celestial Empire and click on the designated areas there.
If everyone has called enough, the area will be transformed – new neat houses will appear instead of debris. And if the event fails, after another 8 hours it will start again, but in a lightweight version. This will not affect the quality of construction work in any way, the result will be the same. Experience and squeaks are also awarded for participation in these events.
